Agility Classes
Listed below are our class descriptions as well as our upcoming classes. We are currently transitioning from our current program to a new system. Classes that were already scheduled can be found to the right. All future classes will be found under the register button for their respective classes.
Agility is a fun sport that works a dog both mentally and physically. It is a great confidence builder for nervous dogs and a wonderful outlet for high-energy dogs. Whether you choose to compete or are just looking for something fun to do with your dog, our agility classes will help you achieve your goals. All of our agility classes are taught by instructors who successfully compete in agility, with the upper-level classes only being taught by instructors who have earned at least one Master Agility Championship.

Private Agility Lessons $45.00
Private lessons are customized to your needs. There is no limit on the number of dogs worked, so you can work one, your crew, or share with a friend. Private lessons are great for teams that schedules do not work for regular classes or for individuals who would like short, focused, lessons for busy schedules or distracted and/or high-energy dogs.

Agility 1 $130.00
This four-week class is to introduce the dogs to all the obstacles at their easiest settings, starting the foundation training for stopped contacts, and handling techniques that can be practiced at home on the flat or with one or two house-hold items. We take the time that is needed with each dog to ensure they have the confidence they need as well as ensuring safety for all dogs. This class is on-leash.
This class is safe for dogs of all ages. Dogs must be under owner control and non-aggressive.

This is a six-week class designed to lay the foundation for great teamwork both on the field and off. This class is open to all dogs six-months or older of any breed or mix (younger dogs may register with restrictions on jumping and equipment, but can start the same foundation training).
In agility 1 we will cover all standard pieces of agility equipment including the teeter, tire, table, dog-walk, a-frame, weaves, tunnels, low jumps, and some sequencing. All obstacles will be introduced at their easiest setting to ensure confidence while building understanding in the dog how to correctly and safely navigate the equipment. In addition, you will build drive as well as build your teamwork.
*Prerequisite Agility 1 or instructor permission

In this class dogs will progress to closed weaving (if not already) with removal of guides throughout the session, increased height on teeter as well as longer sequencing. This class will continue to build on your dog’s confidence and knowledge of equipment as well as continue to build their drive to play the game.

Agility 4 $190.00
In this class dogs will continue to work weave entries with increasing difficulty, equipment at full height as well as increased complexity in sequencing between obstacles. This class is open to any dog that is able safely navigate equipment. Dogs will continue polishing and proofing what they have learned so far.
By the end of Agility 3 dogs will know how to safely and confidently complete all obstacles while having fun doing so. This class is open to dogs that are able to run on full-sized obstacles and are weaving closed weaves.

In this class dogs will continue to work weave entries with increasing difficulty, equipment at full height as well as increased complexity in sequencing between obstacles. This class is open to any dog that is able safely navigate equipment. Dogs will continue polishing and proofing what they have learned so far.
By the end of Agility 3 dogs will know how to safely and confidently complete all obstacles while having fun doing so. This class is open to dogs that are able to run on full-sized obstacles and are weaving closed weaves.

Puppy Agility $130.00
This class is a four-week course for young dogs ages 4-6 months to introduce them to agility in a low setting without a lot of repetition as to ensure their young joints are not damaged while they are still in the peak of their growth. This class will introduce handling on the flat, tunnels, targeting, hoops and above all FUN.

Puppy Agility 2 $130.00
In this four-week course puppies will focus on building your puppies ability to send away from you, find lines, and respond to your handling cues. All handling is done with obstacles that require no jumping.

Agility Handling $190.00
This class will continue to build on your timing handling cues as well as increasing your dog's discrimination skills and learning more advanced handling options. This class is open to any team that is able to complete the equipment (guides or help are okay, but they need to be at regulation height or you will have to bypass it). Price will vary by the number of lessons in the class as our classes at Sirius Ranch are monthly instead of our traditional six-week at Bell Creek.
