Emily Dinges
CGC Evaluator and Foundation OBEDIENCE Instructor
Growing up in the country, Emily has always been around animals of all kinds throughout her life. It wasn’t uncommon to walk into the house and see a bottle fed deer in the living room or other animals which needed a little extra care. Now an adult, she is active in the rescue scene. You can often find puppies and dogs from all over Alaska at her house while they are waiting for their new homes. This is where she acquired her two little dogs: Blue and Forrest. In addition to rescue, Emily stays active with her other two dogs: Banshee and Dovah. As a team, they have been training and competing in agility. Dovah is also a certified therapy dog and can be found hanging out at the local senior center. When not actively engaging with her own dogs, Emily can also be found helping out with many dog sled events in the area. She is currently on the Board of Junior Iditarod.
