Stephanie Horton
Stephanie has loved dogs her whole life and has always found a way for them to be a part of her world. Whether it was by volunteering with rescues and shelters or walking dogs. After joining the Air Force and getting out on her own she got first dog, Ruger the Vizsla. He inspired her to start learning more about the dog world and she quickly became hooked. Upon separating from the military, she started teaching obedience classes, Private lessons and managing day camp at PetSmart. She then went on to work at veterinarian clinics for several years before ultimately coming back to what she is truly passionate about, training! She has experience with many different personalities and dogs of all shapes and sizes. She is currently owned by Kila a shepherd mix recuse, and three fun loving Vizslas, Bimmer, Nikon and Scuttle. They compete in various dog sports and have earned multiple titles in several different venues. She is always looking for ways to continue growing and learning from as many sources as possible as methods are continuously evolving. Stephanie’s main goal is to build a wonderful, long-lasting relationship and bond between dog and handler through proper communication and working as a team. Her Philosophy is to have dogs that WANT to work with you, therefore having a more successful partnership. When she’s not training or competing with her dogs, she’s usually hiking or perusing her other passion of photography, specifically dog photography! She is very excited to join the team!
